Nederlandse journaliste is in Turkije opgepakt


De Nederlandse journaliste Frederike Geerdink is in Turkije opgepakt door een anti-terrorisme eenheid. Dat meldde zij zojuist op Twitter.

Fréderike Geerdink is sinds 2006 correspondent in Turkije. Zij werkt onder andere voor het ANP, de Groene Amsterdammer en buitenlandse media. Ook schrijft Frederike een boek over de Koerdische kwestie.

Minister van Buitenlandse Zaken Bert Koenders is op dit moment in Turkije. Hij is daar op uitnodiging van zijn Turkse collega Mevlüt Cavusoglu.
