Six major powers and Iran are in Lausanne agreed on the most important issues in order to reach a comprehensive agreement by the end of June about the nuclear activities of Iran. This is what German and Iranian diplomats said on thursday in the Swiss city.
“Solution, ready to go right away to set text”, tweeted the Iranian Foreign Minister, Javad Zarif Thursday. The German Foreign Minister wanted not go that far. He spoke in a tweet from an “agreement for a framework on which a final agreement should rest”.
On the basis of the results can also be worked in Lausanne to reach eventually a final agreement by the end of June. That should put an end to the years of fruitless efforts to come to a ‘ nuclear ‘ agreement between Iran and four Western powers like the USA, Britain, France, Germany and China and Russia.
Support oil market
Iran, member of the Opec oil cartel, was busy for weeks to reach an agreement about its nuclear programme. With today’s agreement some relief from the sanctions that the country exports has been imposed can be the result.
That way there would be considerably more crude oil on the market.
